DoDEA hosted its annual Teacher Leadership Summit in Alexandria, Virginia from September 15–19, 2025 and Naples Elementary 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Eris Pitts, was asked to represent Europe South as one of the Teacher Leaders!
“It was an invigorating event for me! Throughout the week, I gained valuable insights and strategies to enhance my classroom practice and contribute to school-wide improvement at Naples Elementary. The weeklong summit fostered collaboration, supported teachers’ professional growth, and reinforced our shared commitment to student success. Teachers reflected on their leadership strengths and growth areas. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues here at NES as well as my fellow teacher leaders to strengthen instructional practices and support student success. Go Dolphins!”
